Hacienda Dona Andrea de Santa Fe

For many years Max explored the vast northern New Mexico mountains, deserts and valleys in search of the perfect location for his dreamed of hacienda. At long last he climbed the Ortiz Mountains and was captivated. He gazed down on the Spanish Colonial city of Santa Fe.  Perched high above the Galisteo Basin overlooking ruins of the ancient native pueblos of San Marcos and the turquoise and silver mines of nearby Los Cerrillos he knew the Hacienda belonged here, had somehow been here waiting.

Begun in 1992 and completed in January 2000, Hacienda Dona Andrea de Santa Fe fulfills its promise. Named in honor of Max’s late with Andrea and worthy of its ancestral heritage, the Hacienda welcomes with elegant accommodation, spectacular views, delightful cuisine and a true experience of New Mexico’s traditions.
