Nestled within the Ortiz Mountains this Santa Fe Bed and Breakfast hotel has a unique, beautiful and peaceful setting with spectacular views by day and incredible star studded skies by night.
Being just 35 minutes from Santa Fe it is still close enough if you miss the city attractions, the shopping or the night life.
But there’s plenty to do here too
We are also on the Turquoise Trail where there are many scenic, historical and cultural sites for you to visit.
Cerrillos (little hills) our local town is a charming, tree-shaded old traditional village that retains much of its character since its birth as a mining town in the 1870’s.
With many old western storefronts, complete with hitching posts, old grocery stores, an historical church and western bars complete with dirt streets it is certainly worthy of a leisurely stroll.
Golf, Wine, Songbirds and a Desert Sunrise
If you want to take in a round of golf we are only about 20 minutes from the Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club. Or, if you love trying new wines, visit the nearby Anasazi Winery.
For the early risers, take in the crisp morning air, a freshly brewed coffee, and relax on our patio to the dawn chorus of bird songs.
If you are really lucky, you may also be greeted with one of our spectacular desert sunrises, a truly memorable moment to take with you.
Just like being at home
The Hacienda is beautifully and tastefully furnished, elegant and charming, with spacious rooms that are cozy and luxurious.
Our staff will go out of their way to make your stay feel just like being at home and that also includes our very special morning breakfasts.
Spectacular Views
Just like anyone who has visited the Grand Canyon will tell you, capturing its beauty and majesty on camera is virtually impossible.
Whilst our views may not be as grand, they are definitely just as spectacular with glorious views of the twinkling lights of Santa Fe by night and by day, majestic mountain ranges that stretch as far as the eye can see.

"This was a real find - we heard about it from wedding guests who had stayed there the year before and raved about it so much we decided to stay here instead of in downtown Santa Fe.
It's a large, gorgeous building set on a mountain side, filled with genuine and historic artifacts, handmade tile and spacious rooms glorious views of Santa Fe, etc...you can even see as far as Colorado!
The service and food are top-notch and since it's only 35 minutes from Santa Fe we were able to visit all the art galleries and nightlife.
I'm not usually a morning person but watching the desert sunrise and the hacienda's spectacular patio will remain one of my most memorable moments."
Would I stay at this location again:" absolutely ! "
