| Intimate Receptions Frequently Asked Questions Some of our guests may want to stay at the Hacienda. How do we handle booking rooms for our event guests with this package? It is heaven to wake up here on the mountain! Your event guests may well prefer a night or two with us, rather than rushing back home or staying in a motel or downtown hotel. You might wish to arrive a few days before or remain after your event or wedding. Lodging can be arranged by clicking here to book a wedding in santa fe or by contacting the Hacienda office directly. Event clients and their guests are eligible for a 20% courtesy lodging discount. This discount will be reflected in final check out invoice. All lodging terms and conditions apply.
Who will be in charge of overseeing our event/reception details? Your catering captain will be in charge of the kitchen and the wait staff. Hacienda office and hospitality staff will be on site. Many times a friend, a florist or a wedding planner takes on the prompting and handling of personal details. For more involved events Hacienda event facilitators can be hired, ask at the Hacienda office.
What assistance can we expect from Hacienda staff in planning our event? All banquet and catering services are provided through the Hacienda office. All Intimate Gathering clients are provided with a juried list of recommended event vendors and professionals. These are the photographers, florists, etc who have been pleased to provide services at previous Hacienda events. They have all earned high praise from our clients.
This list can be an invaluable resource during the planning of your event. You can depend on our catering staff’s professionalism and dedication to the smooth success of your event.
Will the Hacienda be open to the public during our Intimate Gathering? Intimate Gathering package do not guarantee exclusive use of the facility however the Hacienda is not available to the public at large. We may have other registered guests that day or there may be visitors touring the Hacienda and discussing with staff a possible event of their own.
We do not generally schedule appointments during actual ceremony or event times.
What if our Intimate Gathering runs passed our scheduled time? You must adhere to the schedule as booked. Hacienda staff and our lodging guests make their plans around yours. If you are concerned that your event may need additional time you may be able to book additional hours at a pre-agreed hourly rate.

Why is there a limit of 50 guests with the Intimate Gathering package? Birthday parties, Holiday parties, rehearsal dinners and smaller weddings...Intimate Gatherings allow smaller groups the opportunity to experience the beauty and elegance of a Hacienda Doņa Andrea event.
They also allow us to accommodate both event clients and registered lodgers who are not attending events. As we may have several events scheduled during a given week, we must limit the number of guests to allow our staff to restock our supplies and attend maintenance duties.
What if I want to invite more than 50 guests? Clients and couples that wish to host an event for more than 50 guests are given the opportunity to book the entire Hacienda. Click below for more information. Destination Wedding |
