Both Sacrista guestrooms are located on the upper level behind the Hacienda Chapel. Entrance is through the gates into the garden level, upper level parking available.

The views from Chavez de Contreras are to the north with the Sangre de Cristo mountains and Santa Fe in the distance. Carroll en la Sacrista looks to the South with the high peaks of the Ortiz Mountains, no sign of civilization at all.

Our coziest room is a wonderful value for singles or a couple! This room has a queen sized bed and a large private bathroom with a colorfully tiled shower.

Enjoy the fireplace and a shared patio. Combines nicely with our McDonough to create two room suite. Easily accessed from parking area on lower level. max 2 adults

Lower level convenience and open plan allows those guests who need a little more space to enjoy Hacienda hospitality. Soft, inviting down alternative comforters on one queen-sized and one full sized bed.

This suite includes a private bathroom and extra-wide handicapped access hand tiled shower, fireplace and shared patio with exclusive use of lower level handicapped parking. max 4 adults

Galeria guests suites are spacious! The original Spanish Hacienderos of northern New Mexico worked sparkling mica into wall plaster.

Each night candlelight danced on the walls, shining and glittering. Galeria walls have been plastered using this technique and each night we light the candles...

La Boda de Gonzales

The Hacienda office is located on this level as are two premium guestrooms. As you enter the upper level Sala views from the enormous windows on the north side of the Hacienda may take your breath away!

Enjoy upholstered corner bancos for curling up with a book, a library stocked with local interest and other reading materials.

In summer the ancient double doors open wide to the gardens and mountains beyond. In cooler months we light the fireplaces, hanging protective tapestries as in days of old. The entrance is then just to the left.

Our delicious breakfasts are prepared fresh each morning in La Cocina de Rosa. You are welcome to take a peek at the festive kitchen, popular with magazines and television as a production venue.

Our Mesa Grande dominates the dining area, seating up to 14. This table is made from enormous hand hewn slabs of Mesquite wood, just try to give it a nudge! There are also smaller, more intimate tables. We offer lower level and in-room dining, ask for details.

There is a small refrigerator stocked with complimentary soft drinks. You may ask to put your own items there as well. The Coffee bar is available all day.

Dinner menus are seasonal and available on our website or in your room. Many entrees offer the traditional flavors of the Southwest and Mexico. Advance reservations are helpful.

This small, intimate chapel embodies hundreds of years of local tradition and culture. Magnificent hand plastered walls glow with the light from gently flickering candles and give the Chapel a sense of history and warmth. Let our experienced staff help you plan your romantic and private wedding.

A graceful, sweeping stairway leads you down to the Hacienda's lower level where you will find seven guestrooms.

The Galeria and El Sotano are to your left, the main Sala Baja and La Montaña guestrooms to the right. A grand piano, Dish TV (hidden, ask for assistance), hand tiled fountain and manager's apartment are on this level.

In summer three soaring double doors lead you onto El Zocalo, the flagstone courtyard that has been the location of more than 200 weddings since 2001!

In winter there is El portal, our enclosed patio. Imagine sitting in front of a warm fire, sipping a glass of wine or hot spiced cider while outside lights softly illuminate the gently falling snow.

No where to go, nothing needs to be done...just relax and let the mountain work its magic!

Through the hanging tapestry...walk on the hand quarried stone floor... hand cut tin lanterns casting shadows on the sparkling plaster and mica walls...

This area of the Hacienda is devoted to our lodgers and their privacy.

Each of the three guestrooms in this wing are large enough to be comfortable day after day, night after night. The Galeria doors open onto El Zocalo, the guestrooms all have individual patios.
